The next session of private pilot ground school will begin on Monday February 1, 2010 and will go through March 24, 2010. Classes are every Monday and Wednesday over an 8-week period from 6pm to 9pm. The Class is $220.00 plus materials, which can be purchased the first day of class at Colgan Air Services.

If you are interested in learning to fly, ground school can be a great place to start! Some of the topics taught include principle of lift, gravity, drag control, airspeed and basic instrumentation. Unsure if getting a private pilot’s license is for you? Then call Colgan Air and sign up for an introductory flight with an instructor. One of our experienced instructors will discuss with you the process of obtaining your private pilot’s license while taking a half-hour flight in the sky.
