The next session of private pilot ground school will begin Monday, September 28, 2009 and will go through November 18. Classes are every Monday and Wednesday over an 8-week period from 6 pm to 9 pm. The class is $220 plus materials, which can be purchased the first day of class at the Front Desk of Colgan Air Services. If you are interested in learning to fly, ground school can be a great place to start! Some of the topics taught include principle of lift, gravity, drag control, airspeed and basic instrumentation.
